You’ll all be thrilled to hear Mr W and I survived the “Make Your Parents Disappear” show by the dangerously funny Alex and Luke yesterday! Yes, we’re still here, limbs and all to tell the tale of a wonderful mix of magic and mayhem inside the famous Spiegeltent.

Magic should always be exciting, mysterious and make you ooooh and aaaaah! My two love it, and so do I. When I was little I went to see the famous Paul Daniels, I was excited beyond belief!! All I remember is seeing Debbie McGee crawling behind one box, and creeping into another at the back of the stage. It was a bit of a let down to be honest! I was cringing, everyone else in the audience was cringing… Safe to say, there was absolutely none of this nonsense in the Spiegeltent yesterday! In fact, we are still trying to work out how they achieved some of their mind blowing tricks.

We had ‘googled’ Alex and Luke a few times, so we knew they were pretty good, and they didn’t disappoint. They baffled us all with their sleight of hand, made us laugh with their wacky jokes, and kept Monty and the rest of the rabble quiet for a whole hour. That’s a magic trick in itself!

Ok, so the show was for the kids, but I was giggling like a loopy teenager, and gasped far too enthusiastically a few times. I mean how do they shoot packs of cards out of their mouths??

They are proud winners of the Best Comedy Award 2014 at the Melbourne Magic Festival  and it’s obvious why.

These guys have had smash-hit shows at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year, and now Alex and Luke are back and they’re looking forward to fooling you with their magic mastery.

They promised trickery of the highest order, and they delivered. The Wilson’s promise you will all LOVE IT!! Believe me, the whole family is in for a real treat this Easter, so get online and book!!!
